Monson Savings Bank Awards $30,000 in Scholarships to Local High School Graduates

Monson Savings Bank continues its longstanding commitment to supporting education and investing in the future of the communities it serves. This year, the Bank proudly awarded $30,000 in scholarships to 15 graduating seniors from local high schools in recognition of their academic accomplishments, community involvement, and dedication to personal growth.
The 2026 Monson Savings Bank Scholarship Ceremony was held on June 23, 2026 at the Scantic Valley YMCA. Scholarship recipients and their families were invited to attend a reception celebrating their achievements and the next chapter of their educational journeys. Guests enjoyed refreshments, connected with Monson Savings Bank team members, and celebrated the students' successes.
As in previous years, Monson Savings Bank awarded scholarships to graduating seniors from area high schools. This year's recipients were:

During the event, Kandy Tranghese, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, congratulated the scholarship recipients and their families on behalf of Monson Savings Bank.
"These students have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to their education, their communities, and their future goals," said Tranghese. "We are honored to support their continued success through our scholarship program.
