Monson Savings Bank Awards $28,000 in Scholarships to Local High School Graduates

Monson Savings Bank frequently displays their commitment to supporting local community members. This includes supporting the up and coming generations of local high school students who will make a difference in surrounding communities for years to come. Monson Savings recently announced that the Bank awarded $28,000 in scholarships to 14 graduating seniors of local high schools.
On, June 15th, the Bank held their annual Monson Savings Bank Scholarship Ceremony at the Corporate Office located in Monson. At the ceremony students and their parents enjoyed refreshments while mingling with Monson Saving Bank’s team members before receiving their scholarship checks and a gift to take with them on their journey into higher education.

Stefania Liquori – East Longmeadow High School
Alexandros Dimitroglou – East Longmeadow High School
Anna O’Keefe – Minnechaug Regional High School
Mia Scatolini – Minnechaug Regional High School
Camden Balicki – Ware Junior/Senior High School
John Daly, III – Monson High School
Kaleb Metcalfe – Monson High School

Dan Moriarty, President and CEO of Monson Savings Bank, made a brief speech to the recipients and their family members during the ceremony. He expressed how proud he and the entire Bank was of the graduates for their resilience and dedication. He encouraged them to always be their most authentic self, listen to their parents’ guidance, and enjoy every single moment. He also shared with the recipients that as their local community bank, Monson Savings will always be available to offer support and financial advice.
