Monson Savings Bank Donates $1,500 to Whip City Animal Sanctuary

President and CEO of Monson Savings Bank Dan Moriarty recently visited Whip City Animal Sanctuary for a tour. During his visit, Moriarty presented a $1,500 donation to Robin Plourde, Co-Founder of the Whip City Animal Sanctuary, on behalf of Monson Savings Bank.
Whip City Animal Sanctuary earned this donation from the local bank after placing in the top ten for the Monson Savings Bank 2024 Community Giving Initiative. Community members voted for their favorite charitable organizations and chose Whip City Animal Sanctuary to be a recipient of a donation in 2024.

Whip City Animal Sanctuary is a Westfield based 501c3 nonprofit organization. It was established in 2020 by co-founders Robin & Kerry Plourde. Their mission is to provide long term care for surrendered, neglected, and abused farm animals. Whip City Animal Sanctuary provides desperately needed shelter, feed, and veterinary care services to ensure that each one of their residents gets the chance to live out the remainder of their lives in a comfortable and safe environment.
