When the MoneyMaking Checking qualifications are met during a Monthly Qualification Cycle, 1) an interest rate of 0.75% will be paid on the portion of your daily balance that is less than or equal to $25,000 and the annual percentage yield (APY) for this tier is 0.75%. An interest rate of 0.10% will be paid on the portion of your daily balance that is greater than $25,000, resulting in an annual percentage yield for this tier ranging from 0.75% to 0.23%, depending on the account’s balance and 2) nationwide ATM fees posted to your checking account during the qualification cycle will be reimbursed and credited to the account on the last day of the current statement cycle.

The MoneyMaking Checking account is intended to be the accountholder's primary checking account in which payroll transactions and day-to-day spending activities including but not limited to grocery, gasoline, apparel, shopping, dining, sporting, and entertainment transactions are posted and settled.

When the MoneyMaking Checking qualifications are not met during a Monthly Qualification Cycle, the interest rate paid on the entire balance will be 0.05% with an annual percentage yield of 0.05% and ATM fees are not refunded.

The disclosed MoneyMaking Checking APY is based on compounding interest and on an assumed total account balance of $125,000.

Qualifying transactions MUST post to and settle your account during the monthly qualification cycle. They may not be in a pending state to qualify as one of the qualifications. Transactions may take one or more days from the date the transaction was made to post to and settle an account. The following transactions do not count toward earning account rewards: ATM processed transactions, transfers between accounts, debit card transactions processed by merchants and received by the bank as ATM transactions, non-retail payment transactions and purchases made with debit cards not issued by our bank. Transactions bundled together by merchants and received by our institution as a single transaction count as a single transaction for the purpose of earning account rewards.

The "Monthly Qualification Cycle" means a period beginning the 3rd Wednesday of the month and ends the business day prior to the 3rd Wednesday of the next month.

CashBack Checking:

1Minimum to open is $10. When monthly qualifications are met, you receive 10¢ for every "PIN-based" Monson Savings Bank debit card purchase transaction, 20¢ for every "signature-based" Monson Savings Bank debit card purchase transaction, and 10¢ for every bill paid through our online bill pay service, up to a total cash back of $10 per monthly statement cycle, posted to your account on the last day of the statement cycle. We will also reimburse up to a total of $10 in domestic ATM fees incurred during the statement cycle if qualifications are met within the monthly statement cycle. Qualifying transactions must post to and settle account during monthly statement cycle. Transactions may take one or more banking days from the date transaction was made to post to and settle account. ATM processed transactions and transfers between accounts do not count as qualifying transactions for purposes of earning rewards within this account. Cash Back rewards are subject to 1099 tax reporting. No monthly service charge. Available for personal accounts only. Limit one account per tax owner.

Student Checking:

1Minimum to open is $10. To earn nationwide ATM fee refunds each month, each statement cycle you must be enrolled in and agree to receive eStatement notice. If you have met your ATM Fee Refunds qualifications for the month, nationwide ATM fees posted to your checking account during the statement cycle will be reimbursed and credited to the account on the last day of the monthly statement cycle. ATM fee refunds may be subject to 1099 tax reporting. If under 18, requires a parent or legal guardian to be a co-signer on the account.
