As 2023 comes to an end, Monson Savings Bank is congratulating their friends at the Theatre Guild of Hampden on a successful 2023 season! The community bank was a season sponsor of the Theatre Guild of Hampden, donating $1,500 to the local organization.

Michael Rouette, Monson Savings Bank EVP & COO, shared his appreciation for the Theatre Guild of Hampden and the local arts.

“Congratulations to all at the Theatre Guild of Hampden on a job well done this year,” said Rouette. “I know that a lot of hard work goes into organizing and executing each production. It is amazing that you all are able to put together three to four productions every year. Thank you for helping to keep the local arts alive and well in the Hampden community!”

Mark Giza along with Rick Rubin founded the Theatre Guild of Hampden in 2005. For nearly 25 years the nonprofit organization has dedicated itself to providing the Town of Hampden and surrounding communities with quality theater experiences. The Theatre Guild of Hampden has premiered many Broadway shows such as My Fair Lady, The Full Monty, and The Producers. They are currently preparing for Oklahoma, which will debut in April 2024 at The Red Barn at Fountain Park. “We are so grateful to have a partner like Monson Savings Bank who is so willing to offer their support year after year,” said Giza. “We are a small, non-profit theatre group that operates solely on donations and ticket sales. So, we couldn’t do what we do without the help of our community partners, like Monson Savings.”
