Monson Savings to Hold Workshop for First Time Homebuyers
Monson Savings Bank is conducting a free workshop to help first time homebuyers learn about purchasing a home. A first time homebuyer is anyone who has never owned a home or who has not had ownership in any real estate for at least three years.
This workshop is designed to help first time homebuyers learn how to get pre–qualified for a mortgage, as well as the facts about special loan programs with low down payments. You will be amazed at what you can learn from our expert speakers including our originators Charlene Kareta and Terry Poloski, a closing attorney, an appraiser, a home inspector and homeowner’s insurance representatives.
This workshop is open to the public and will take place on Saturday, March 24th at our Hampden Branch, 15 Somers Road in Hampden, from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Special offers, as well as a chance to win door prizes for all who attend. A light lunch will be served.
"There are a lot of people who have good credit and enough income to afford reasonable mortgage payments but who are still challenged to purchase a home due to the difficulty of raising the money for a down payment, not knowing who to talk to or what the process is." said Steve Lowell, President of Monson Savings Bank. "That's exactly who this program is designed to help".
We’re asking people to RSVP to reserve a seat. Please call or email Olivia Larose at 413-267-4513 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
"You can go in there in a bad mood and come out in a good one. It’s a great place to do your banking!"
