At Monson Savings Bank, supporting the communities we serve means listening to the people who know them best: you.
Through our annual Community Giving Initiative, community members have the opportunity to help identify local nonprofit organizations making a difference. Each year, we invite the public to vote for the organizations they would like to see receive support from Monson Savings Bank in the year ahead.
Your participation helps us learn more about the causes, programs and organizations that matter to our neighbors and helps guide a portion of our community giving.
Community Giving Initiative Eligibility
Monson Savings Bank is committed to supporting a wide variety of organizations that make a difference in the communities we serve. To help expand the reach of the Community Giving Initiative and provide opportunities for more organizations to receive support, the following eligibility guidelines apply:
- An organization must be designated as non-profit.
- An organization must provide services in the Bank's geography.
- An organization may receive Community Giving Initiative funding for up to two consecutive years.
- After receiving funding for two consecutive years, the organization will not be eligible for the Community Giving Initiative for one year.
- Following the one-year break, the organization will become eligible again the following year.
