MSB Employee Spotlight: Linda Abrantes

If you don’t know already, we have amazing employees at Monson Savings Bank and we want you get to know them. The MSB Employee Spotlight is an ongoing series highlighting the achievements, hard work, fun details and individual traits that make Monson Savings Bank employees so great!

I am a banker, a mom, a friend, a proud aunt, and a sister

What is your role at Monson Savings Bank and how do you help your customers?

I am a Senior CSA here at MSB. It’s a pleasure waiting on our customers and getting to know new customers. I like being able to help customers by offering exceptional customer service and offering customers products that best fits their needs.

What do you like most about your position?

I like the relationships that I have built and continue to build with my customers. I enjoy seeing them come back to the Bank with a smile on their face. I appreciate that I work with such an amazing team that supports and assists me in any way possible

How long have you been with Monson Savings Bank?

I have been with Monson for 2 years, but have been working in the banking industry for 23 years.

What are the top things you love about MSB?

The thing I love about MSB is is that coming to work every day feels just like you are coming home. I really feel like I have a family here at MSB, not only in my office, but with the entire MSB family. At MSB, I feel like my hard work is recognized and appreciated.

How do you feel connected to the local communities?

Supporting our local businesses makes me feel connected to the local communities. I support local businesses by shopping at locally owned grocery stores, eating at local restaurants, participating and volunteering at local events like the Monson Food Festival, and waking up bright and early to stop for coffee at Monson's very own Woodbine Country Store before my work day.

How do you feel at the end of the day after helping customers?

I feel a sense of appreciation at the end of my work days. When I thank our customers for coming in, I mean it. They leave me with a sense of fulfillment. At MSB we truly take the time to listen to our customers and understand them. Our customers aren't just a number, we really want to help them by any means necessary. It makes me feel so good when I see a customer leave with a smile and come back just because of the service that they have recieved.
