Donna M. Easton-Vicalvi Retires from Monson Savings Bank

After 28 years in municipal finance, Donna Easton-Vicalvi, Monson Savings Bank Vice President, Government Banking and Cash Management Officer, is retiring from the community Bank.

“Donna has proven herself to be someone who is dedicated to helping others find success and this has been evident throughout her entire career. During her time at Monson Savings Bank, her contributions to the team, our customers, and the communities that we serve has been tremendous,” said Monson Savings Bank President and CEO, Dan Moriarty. “Her wit, enthusiasm, and her dedication to uplifting those around her are something we treasure. She will be missed by all of us here and we wish her the best of luck in this next phase of her life.”

Donna M. Easton-Vicalvi is a resident of Hampden where she resides with her husband, Dana. She is an active member of her community, always making herself available to contribute to the betterment of the area. Easton-Vicalvi is a long time member of the East of the River Chamber of Commerce and has been involved with the Monson Savings Bank Scholarship Program for many years. She volunteers her time to the Hampden Read Aloud Program and to the local nonprofit, I Found Light Against All Odds Lighthouse Project.

Easton-Vicalvi’s retirement marks the culmination of her impressive 28 year career in municipal finance. In 2016, she joined Monson Savings Bank’s Municipal Banking department. Prior to her time at Monson Saving Bank, Easton-Vicalvi worked as the treasurer for the Town of Hampden and the Hampden-Wilbraham Regional School District for 15 years. Additionally, she worked at prior financial institutions in the Municipal Banking Department for 9 years.

During her time at Monson Savings Bank, Easton-Vicalvi worked closely with Corinne Sawyer, Monson Savings Bank Vice President, Director of Business and Municipal Banking Officer, to develop the Bank’s Municipal Banking Department. In her role as Vice President, Government Banking and Cash Management Officer, Easton-Vicalvi was responsible for developing banking relationships with municipalities and non-profits. She would pair municipalities and non-profits with services tailored to their specific needs, including cash management and short term lending.

“It has been both an honor and a privilege to work with and have the support of the banking professionals at Monson Savings Bank,” said Donna Easton-Vicalvi, Monson Savings Bank Vice President, Government Banking and Cash Management. “The past four and a half years at the Bank have been the highlight of my career. Working with Corinne to build the Municipal Banking Division at Monson Savings is one of my greatest accomplishments.”
