2022 has been filled with many fun celebrations and gatherings for Monson Savings, as the community bank celebrated its 150th year of business this year. Most recently, Monson Savings Bank hosted members of the community to join them in celebrating their Loan and Operations Center in Wilbraham. In the interest of safety, the Bank did not hold a ribbon cutting when the location first opened in late 2020. Everyone was very thankful that they could safely gather to celebrate the community bank at an open house.
“We were very happy to be able to spend time with members of the community as we celebrated and provided tours of our Loan and Operations Center. This celebration was long overdue, but it was absolutely worth the wait,” said Dan Moriarty, Monson Savings Bank President & CEO. “We are extremely grateful to the Wilbraham community for their longstanding support of Monson Savings.”
Local professionals and community members attended the open house in support of the local bank. As guests arrived, they were greeted by Monson Savings Bank team members. A jazz trio played music in the foyer which rose through to the third floor Loan & Operations Center. Guests mingled, received tours of the office building, and enjoyed hors d'oeuvres. During the evening, Monson Savings Bank President and CEO, Dan Moriarty, and EVP and Chief Operating Officer, Michael Rouette, thanked guests for their continued support of Monson Savings Bank and announced winners of drawing prizes, including 10 custom Yeti Rambler Water Bottles engraved with the Bank's 150th Anniversary logo and two drawing baskets.
“We’ve been incredibly grateful for the support the Loan & Operations Center has received and it was a perfect time, during our 150th anniversary, to celebrate the location,” said Michael Rouette, Monson Savings Bank Executive Vice President & COO. “Thank you to all who joined us for our Open House.”
