The following Monson Savings Bank team members are being celebrated for their noteworthy work anniversaries in 2024.

20 Years of Service

Jack Hibbard, Vice President Controller, will be retiring in early 2025 after an exceptional career dedicated to the Bank's success and growth. Hibbard’s contributions over the years have been immeasurable, he played a pivotal role in shaping the Bank's financial operations and ensuring its long-term stability. With 20 years of service, his leadership, expertise, and commitment to excellence have helped guide Monson Savings Bank through numerous milestones. Hibbard’s meticulous attention to detail, his ability to navigate complex financial situations, and his unwavering dedication to the Bank’s mission have made him a respected and trusted figure among his colleagues. Beyond his industry skills, Hibbard has been a mentor and a steady presence for all those who have worked with him, embodying the values of teamwork, integrity, and service. As Hibbard prepares for this well-deserved retirement, Monson Savings Bank extends their deepest gratitude for his hard work, loyalty, and the lasting impact he has made.

10 Years of Service

Aimee Kohn, Business Relationship Manager, is celebrating a remarkable 10 years of dedicated service. Since joining the Bank, Kohn has been instrumental in fostering strong relationships and contributing to the Bank’s overall growth. Kohn previously worked as a branch manager, where she was recognized for her leadership, customer-first attitude, and commitment to excellence. Her deep understanding of the community and her passion for helping local businesses succeed have made her an invaluable asset to Monson Savings Bank. Through her professionalism and drive, Kohn has ensured customers receive personalized and exceptional service.

April Chagnon, Senior Commercial Loan Servicer, is celebrating an impressive 10 years of service with the Bank. Throughout her decade-long career, Chagnon has been a cornerstone of the Commercial Lending team, consistently demonstrating expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence. Her in-depth knowledge of loan servicing has ensured that customers receive timely and accurate support, helping to build trust and long-lasting relationships. As she celebrates this important milestone, Monson Savings Bank recognizes and appreciates her outstanding contributions, professionalism, and the positive influence she continues to have within the organization.

Charlene Kareta, Mortgage Originator NMLS ID 458963, is also celebrating 10 years of dedicated service. Throughout her tenure, Kareta has guided countless customers through the home financing process, offering personalized attention and support to help them achieve their homeownership dreams. Her commitment to honesty, reliability, and dependability has made her a trusted advisor to many. In addition to her work, Kareta enjoys being involved in the community- she is a past Chairperson of the Scholarship Committee for the Realtor Association of Pioneer Valley.

Nancy Velozo, Assistant Vice President Collections Officer, has reached a decade of dedicated service. Since joining the bank in 2014, Velozo has been instrumental in managing collections, ensuring the financial well-being of the institution. Beyond her professional responsibilities, Velozo actively participates in community initiatives, exemplified by her involvement in the Bank's Build-a-Bike event at the South End Community Center, where she helped bring joy to local children. She also served on the Steering Committee for Rays of Hope for 30 years, where she was the event Chair in 1999 & 2000. Her unwavering dedication and community spirit have made her an invaluable asset to Monson Savings Bank and the communities it serves.

5 Years of Service

Darlene Mark, Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer, is celebrating five years of service. Mark has been instrumental in supporting local businesses with their lending needs. Outside of her work, she sits on the Finance Committee of the Ludlow Boys and Girls Club. She is also a member of the Quaboag Valley Business Assistance Corporation’s Loan Committee and a board member of the Quaboag Community Development Corporation. Her hard work and commitment have contributed to the Bank's success and the prosperity of the community.

Kate Blackwell, Assistant Ware Branch Manager, celebrates five years of service. Blackwell began her career in 2019 and quickly demonstrated her commitment to exceptional customer service and teamwork. In recognition of her outstanding contributions, she was honored with the inaugural President's Award in 2022. Her peers commend her empathy towards customers and her supportive approach to colleagues, making her an invaluable asset to both the Bank and the community.

Kelly Livingstone, Loan Servicer, is also celebrating five years of dedicated service! Livingstone joined the bank 2019 as a Customer Service Associate and has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Her diverse background in customer service and culinary arts has enriched her, making her a valued team member. Livingstone participates in community initiatives, including participating in the Bank's 150 Build-a-Bike campaign, which provided bicycles to children.

Paul Vegiard, Vice President, is celebrating five remarkable years of service helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals. As an Osaic Institutions, Inc. Investment Executive located at Monson Savings Bank, he thoughtfully balances conservative strategies and creative solutions to provide personalized investment guidance tailored to each client's unique needs. He helps individuals and families who are seeking expert financial insights, looking to plan for their future, and grow their investments. Vicki Baldyga, Wilbraham Branch Manager, is celebrating five years of service. With an impressive 25-year tenure in the banking industry, she has proven to be an asset to Monson Savings Bank. Her leadership and commitment to exceptional customer service have significantly contributed to the success of the Wilbraham Branch. Outside of her job, she engages with the community, serving as Treasurer of the Three Rivers Chamber of Commerce and volunteering at the Crossway Community Church's kitchen.
